| We have a special message from Sara Stillwell who is on the PTO Staff Appreciation Committee at Black Mountain Primary! “Hey Black Mountain Schools students and parents! This coming week is national Teacher Appreciation week. Although we aren’t physically at school we still want to show our appreciation for all their hard work throughout the year. Please take a few moments each day (May 4-8) to reach out to your child’s teacher, assistance, administration, support staff, cafeteria worker, specials teachers, etc. to say thank you. This “thank you” will have to be virtual for now, so you can send it to your teacher through email, SeeSaw, Class DoJo, etc. Here are possible ideas for what your student can do to make the teachers and staff feel appreciated: –Write a letter or poem –Send your teacher an e-card –Use Giftly.com to send your teacher an e-gift card –Take a picture of a piece of art work you made for them –Take a video your student singing a song, playing an instrument, saying a quick thank you, or telling one of their favorite memories of their teacher. Be creative and have fun! We know the teachers and staff will appreciate any effort you make. “ |
